No imperfect human can set himself up as a judge of others. The law of Moses gave good counsel to the king. He had to read the Word of God every day lest he feel better than his subjects. - Deut. 5:19 p.m., 20

(I Cor. 5:13.)

— Col. 2:8, Li ; I Tim. 1:6, Li ; 6:20, Jé ; II Tim. 4:4, Sg ; Héb. 13:9, NW.

“Judicial” definition - of or relating to a judgment, the function of judging, the administration of justice, or the judiciary.

Have you heard the term “Judicial committee”?  What is its main goal, but to judge another as acceptable before God?  Aren’t the elders, whom the GB has set up to judge others,  imperfect men?   Matt 24:48-51

"8 To speak against another Christian is a sin (James 4:11, 12)."

To speak against another who desires to follow Christ as a true Christian; not following men, not a GB…but Christ and the Father;  the elder body judges this individual as spiritually dead, by disfellowshipping them.   This isn’t because the individual has sinned against scripture, but transgressed doctrine of an organization.

Who is it, that has sinned?

Elders are not gods; yet, they readily disfellowship God’s anointed priesthood/Temple (1 Cor 3:16,17) for listening to their Master, Jesus Christ. This is sinning against the Holy Spirit.  Matt 6:24; Matt 12:31-33; Luke 12:10-12

They disfellowship individuals who turn to Christ, or see failed doctrine announced over the years by an organization, and refuse to accept it.   They have even disfellowshipped victims of child abuse.

From your quote:

“Some are critical of their companions because they think they are more righteous than they are, or want to rise by lowering others (Psalm 50:20, Proverbs 3:29). The Greek term 'talk against' carries the idea of hostility and implies a false or exaggerated accusation. This amounts to bringing an unfavorable judgment against a brother. How is it to speak against the law and judge the law of God? Let us remember that the scribes and Pharisees 'skilfully set aside the commandment of God' and judged according to their own standards (Mark 7: 1-13)”

Yes, this is what the organization is known for. Rev 13:15  It is God’s Word that judges such individuals, as the WT has utilized:

Psalm 50:20 "You sit and testify against your brother
and slander your own mother’s son."

Proverbs 3:29  "Do not plot harm against your neighbor,
    who lives trustfully near you."

Matt 7:1-13  The Pharisees and some of the teachers of the law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus 2 and saw some of his disciples eating food with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed. 3 (The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders. 4 When they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. And they observe many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pitchers and kettles.[a])

5 So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?”

6 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:

“‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.

You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.

9 And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ 11 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban (that is, devoted to God)— 12 then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother. 13 Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”

et l’homme mauvais, ses pensées ;
qu’il revienne à
Jéhovah, qui aura pitié de lui,
oui

Jesus never backed down when it came to speaking truth.  His anointed must also, always, speak truth.  When your governing body tells a lie, would Christ expect his anointed priests to be silent?  Or...should they follow his footsteps and speak truth also?  Jesus said,

“I have told you these things to keep you from stumbling. 2 They will ban you from the synagogues. In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering service to God. 3 They will do these things because they haven’t known the Father or Me.   John 16:1-3

Many anointed and companions are "banned"/disfellowshipped from the synagogues ("congregations") for speaking against your leaders' lies.  This isn't pride, this is being faithful to scripture, to God and to Christ.

Disfellowshipping is a spiritual "killing".  Should spiritual brothers be "killing" spiritual brothers".  Your GB expect it.  They silence their own anointed brothers.

"Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand."  Rom 14:4

"Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous."  1 John 3:12

Jesus was killed by his people; the governing body "kill" their own people who listen to Jesus, and not to men.  Rev 13:15

BONJOUR WITNESS

” — I Cor. 5:13NW.

? ” (Nomb. 16:3).

w80 1/11 p. 17-22

Among the various causes of apostasy, one of the most important is unquestionably the lack of faith caused by doubt (Heb 3:12). The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology gives interesting information about the Greek verb often translated as "doubtful". We read: "Diakrino: make a distinction, judge, (...); to doubt, to hesitate. (...) In certain passages [of the New Testament] doubt appears as a lack of faith and therefore as a sin (Rom 14:23). (...) In Romans 4:20 sq., Doubt is closely related to unbelief. (...) Doubt is therefore a lack of confidence in what God has yet to accomplish and that man must wait. (...) In the N. T., the one who doubts sins against God and his promises, because he judges God unjustly. "

11 Anyone who doubts to the point of becoming an apostate therefore sets himself up as a judge and thinks he knows more than his Christian brothers, or even more than "the faithful and wise slave" by which he has learned most, if not all, of this that he knows about Jehovah God and his purposes. He thus develops a spirit of independence and acquires a "proud heart" which is "something hateful to Jehovah". (Prov 16: 5.)

Some apostates even think they have a better knowledge than God in terms of the calendar he has set for his plans. Ingratitude and presumption are two other causes of apostasy. - II Peter 2: 10b-13a.
What are the effects of rebellion and apostasy?

12 He who commits the path of apostasy begins to lose his joy and persists in his rebellion. On the other hand, it ceases to absorb the spiritual food given by "the faithful and wise slave", which leads to spiritual weakness and the collapse of the spirit. Establishing a contrast between the sad state of the apostates and the happiness of his faithful servants, Jehovah declared prophetically:

"Behold, my servants will eat, but you, you will suffer from hunger. Behold, my servants will drink, but you will suffer thirst. Behold, my servants will rejoice, but you will be ashamed. Behold, my servants will shout with joy, because of the good condition of the heart, but you will cry out because of the pain of the heart, and you will shriek because of the collapse of the spirit. " Isa. 65:13, 14.

13. What does it mean to despise seigniory? Where does it lead (Jude 8:10)?

13 After producing the fruits of the flesh that are "enmities, quarrels, jealousy, tantrums, disputes, divisions, sects", apostates often fall into the trap of other carnal works, such as than "drinking", "misconduct" and "fornication". (Gal 5: 19-21.) Peter warns us against those who "despise the seigniory" by ignoring the theocratic order, who "speak badly" of Christians with responsibilities in the congregation and who therefore, 'give up the right way'. According to Pierre, "the final condition has become worse for them than the first". - Read carefully II Peter, chapter 2.

"They came out of our house, but they were not ours; for if they had been of ours, they would have remained with us. "-1 Jean 2:19

I John 2: 19. In ancient Israel, the laws given by God served as rules for correction. Offenders who went beyond the limits set by the repurchase provisions of the law were to be cut off from the congregation of Israel. How? 'Or' What ? By being put to death. Later, similarly, in the Christian congregation, those who persisted in transgressing the merciful dispositions of Jehovah and showed no suitable repentance, were cut off even though they were not put to death. They were excluded, or excommunicated, from the Christian congregation. Attachment to justice was required both in ancient Israel and in the early Christian congregation. For Israel, the order was: "You will take away evil from your midst. "(Deut 17: 7). For the Christian congregation the principle was reaffirmed: "Take away the wicked from among you. "- I Cor. 5:13, NW.

Qorah, Dathan, and Abiram spoke ill of the representatives of God, Moses and Aaron; However, before God executes these men and members of their household before their tents, Moses said to those who were onlookers, "You will know for sure that these men treated Jehovah without respect," despising his theocratic appointments. - Number 16: 1-3, 30-35 it-1 352

Qorah clearly focused on the situation with a purely human look and braved those Jehovah had appointed to lead the nation. "Enough of you [...]," he told them with contempt. Why do you rise above the congregation [...]? "(Num 16: 3).

Causes and consequences of apostasy

10, 11. (a) What is one of the main causes of apostasy? b) Which similar meanings can we give to the Greek word translated "to doubt"? How does the apostate judge himself?

10 Among the various causes of apostasy, a key is undoubtedly the lack of faith caused by doubt ( Heb. 3:12 ). The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology gives interesting information about the Greek verb often translated as "doubtful". We read: " Diakrino: make a distinction, judge, (...); to doubt, to hesitate. (...) Hello, Darlene, I just love your name, I had a cousin named Darline, and had a classmate also named Darlene! It's a pleasure to know another Darlene! Especially a Spiritual Sister! There's some websites, Ministry Ideaz , JW Stuff.com, and Etsy that I use to order my yearly buttons for the Conventions! They always send me what I order, and their also Jehovah's Witnesses, that send us the merchandise we order!  You can check out these websites, and they might have what your looking for! I hope I have been helpful in assisting you, Darlene! Agape love, Shirley!😀

      Hi Twyla,

When will the meeting material for week com Monday 11th March 2024 be available?

You normally post it the week before, normally on a Thursday.

Please let me know if there is any problem.

      Best Regards

      Chloe
