This was happening all the time when we were in Greece in the 1980. At that time the priests worked in gangs and all the brothers held magazines (no work was allowed home home but if they worked on the street) the bullied And the brothers were attacked. Bullies that Can ... do.

During the 60's, and early 70's ... the "hippie years", ... there were violent anti-Vietnam war  protests all over America, hurting and intimidating innocent people.

THIS STOPPED in 1970,  the month after the Ohio National Guard fired 67 bullets into the crowd, killing four, and wounded nine others, but legal ramifications continued for the next 42 years.
