FRANKLIN — Ms. Delores Goodwyn Branch, 80, passed away on Jan. 3, 2018, at her home in Franklin, Virginia.

She was born on July 16, 1937, in Southampton County to Jimmie and Ammie Edwards. She was the eldest of four children.

Ms. Branch was preceded in death by her husband, Airfield Branch; her parents; a sister, Joyce Washington; and a son, Linwood Branch.

Ms. Branch is survived by her brother, Johnny C. Edwards; a sister, Barbara Jean Hill; six children, Latress Edwards, Brad Branch, Cynthia Branch, Tommy Branch, Brenda Branch, Tony Branch; and an adopted daughter, Mildred Holly.

She will be remembered as a dedicated and faithful JehovahÂ’s Witness for 46 years and a loving homemaker and health care aide.

Ms. BranchÂ’s memorial service will be in the Kingdom Hall of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses, 212 Morton St., Franklin, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018.
