Orville Adam Kramer husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away due to complications of a stroke January 15, 2018 at Cottage in the Meadow surrounded by his loving family.

Orville was born in Illinois on December 18, 1934 to Elsie (Pope) and John Kramer.

Orville married Jacqueline Wood on May 3, 1958 in Superior, Montana and had their first child, a daughter, Shelly in July of 1959. Together the family then moved to Yakima, WA in 1960. They welcomed the arrival of their second daughter Kristy on May 24, 1964.

Orville worked at Boise Cascade as an electrician and retired in 1998 after 38 years with the company.

Orville was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses who believed in Jehovah GodÂ’s promise of an earthly resurrection to a paradise earth as mentioned at Acts 24:15.

He leaves behind his devoted wife Jacque of 59 years, his daughter Shelly (Jim) Fickel, daughter Kristy Dwinell; 4 grandchildren, Kelsey (Eric) Poeggel, Jared Fickel, Eric and Amanda Dwinell; 2 great grandchildren, Ryker and Addison Poeggel; sister Pat Owen, brothers John (Joyce) Kramer and Fred (Dot) Kramer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents John and Elsie Kramer, his brother Lloyd Kramer and sister Edith Anthis, their spouses and others.

The family wishes to especially thank Dr. William Cox and the many nurses, doctors and staff at Cottage in the Meadow for their compassionate care of both Orville and his family while there. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our many, many friends and loved ones who went above and beyond in visiting, bringing food, sending cards, placing phone calls and provided their time, help and services over the duration of his illness.

At his request there will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses at JW.ORG or Cottage in the Meadow.
