Where will the demons be during the Thousand Year Reign of Christ?

They are in his sphere of influence.

(Revelation 12:3, 4) 3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Look! A great fiery-colored dragon, with seven heads and ten horns and on its heads seven diadems; 4 and its tail drags a third of the stars of heaven, and it hurled them down to the earth. . . .

Revelation 20:1-3) And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not mislead the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were ended. After this he must be released for a little while. 

(Jude 6) 6 And the angels who did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper dwelling place, he has reserved with eternal bonds in dense darkness for the judgment of the great day.    

(Romans 16:20) For his part, the God who gives peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. May the undeserved kindness of our Lord Jesus be with you.

1 Cor 6: 1-3  Or do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to try very trivial matters? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? 

(Mark 3:22-27) 22 Also, the scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying: “He has Be·elʹze·bub, and he expels the demons by means of the ruler of the demons.” 23 So after calling them to him, he spoke to them with illustrations: “How can Satan expel Satan? 24 If a kingdom becomes divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand; 25 and if a house becomes divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26 Also, if Satan has risen up against himself and has become divided, he cannot stand but is coming to an end. 27 In fact, no one who enters the house of a strong man is able to steal his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Only then can he plunder his house. 

My take from these scriptures:

Jesus will in fact tie up that strong man - those in his house (the demons) will be affected similarly.

From above scriptures - Satan rules the demons - he is called the ruler of the demons.

These wicked angels will be judged by Jesus and the 144 000 who will rule with him. 1 Cor 6:3

Since Satan "drags them in his tail", they will be with him and share the same fate.

Their fate is already sealed - stored up for destruction. Jude 6

It is obvious they will be judged with Satan, bound with Satan and destroyed with Satan

22 In many places, the prophetic Word warns of God’s executing judgment on Satan and his “seed.” For example, there is Jeremiah 25:31-38, which tells us that “those slain by Jehovah will certainly come to be in that day from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth.” To the forefront are the political and religious “shepherds,” who will ‘howl’ and ‘cry out,’ and wallowing with them are the “majestic ones of the flock,” including the favored prominent followers, who follow them into destruction. Finally, the original Serpent himself, together with his demons, will be shut up for a thousand years. Revelation 19:11 to 20:3 describes how Christ Jesus and the holy angels of heaven will fight for just such a victory, in vindication of Jehovah’s name. The triumph over the Serpent and his “seed” will be complete!

Satan deceives/battles those under the New (“woman” Gal 4:24) Covenant before the birth of the Kingdom.  Twice,  “stars” are used in these scriptures.  Why would the definition of stars change from God’s anointed ones to Satan’s demons, when its obvious that Satan is trying to destroy them?   

Stars represent Abraham’s seed.  Dan 12:3; Phil 2:15; Rev 1:20

One of my favorite scriptures are these in Rev 21:

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.² I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ⁴ ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’^[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

In verse 4 it makes reference to Isa 25:8 -

“On this mountain (Zion) the Lord Almighty will prepare
    a feast of rich food for all peoples,
a banquet of aged wine—
    the best of meats and the finest of wines.
⁷ On this mountain he will destroy
    the shroud that enfolds all peoples,
the sheet that covers all nations;
⁸     he will swallow up death forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears
    from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace
    from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.”

As a JW, this is what I looked forward to.  However,  the Watchtower teaches that this is temporary – only for 1,000 literal years after Armageddon; at which time, Satan is to be let loose to devise and plan a strategy to come against GOD’S SAINTS. (Rev 20:9 KJV)  This devising could take years to create and build, even a hundred years; give or take.  Rev 20:7-9

However this is impossible.

#1 God’s saints will be ruling with Christ as “New Jerusalem, the Bride and the dwelling of God (1 Cor 3:16,17), their hearts will be sealed – all “144,000 of them. Rev 7:7  They will have victoriously battled Satan and his Beast (Rev 13:1) alongside Christ, and won. Rev 15:2; 12:10  Satan won’t have the opportunity to target the saints once they are reigning with Christ as his Bride.  The Watchtower teaches that Gog and Magog will show up after Armageddon, and also before Armageddon.  The Bible doesn’t give two accounts of this happening.  Only one time does Gog and Magog “surround the camp of the saints” using deceit as his tool, which is before they are sealed…and which is now, as the two Beasts of Rev 13.

#2 Jesus is light and life. John 8:12; John 14:6;  Satan is darkness and death. Isa 33:1; Eph 6:11,12; 1 Pet 5:8  When death is swallowed up, Satan is destroyed.  Rev 21:4 tells us “death will be no more”.  Isn’t that what all JWs look forward to?

#3 1 Cor 15:22-26:

“For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. ²³ But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.²⁴ Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. ²⁵ For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. ²⁶ The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 

“Then the end will come” when Jesus returns; at which time, the “last enemy to be destroyed is death”. 

We are finished with the symbolic “thousand years” when Jesus rules amidst his enemies.  Ps 110:1,2.  The evidence is in the lie that Watchtower teaches God’s saints and all JWs, of a peaceful ideallic 1000 years to follow after Armageddon which is to come to a halt, and millions are to be killed in another “Armageddon-like” war. Rev 20:7-10

The Beast, the false prophet (Gog and Magog), and Satan are thrown into the “lake of fire” at the culmination of Armageddon when all authorities and powers will be abolished.  God’s Kingdom of peace will rule eternally with no interruption, under Jesus Christ,  and with no more death to come.  Rev 7:9-12

Thus he said:

‘The fourth beast shall be
A fourth kingdom on earth,
Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,
And shall devour the whole earth,
Trample it and break it in pieces.
²⁴ The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.
²⁵ He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time.

What organization has changed the set times of Armageddon (more than once) and of the thousand year reign of Christ…as well as the laws regarding God’s anointed priesthood, by having elders “represent” the royal priesthood? Eze 44:6-9  The “saints” have been given into the elder’s hands, to be ruled over.  Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:3,4 The Beast/organization of Rev 13:1 is the “man of lawlessness” that “overcomes” the saints and has authority to rule over people (JWs) from “every tribe, tongue and nation” Rev 13:7; Rev 20:7-9  I so wish JWs would recognize this. 

 

²⁶ ‘But the court shall be seated,
And they shall take away his dominion,
To consume and destroy it forever. Rev 19:20
²⁷ Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.

His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’  Dan 7:23-27

An everlasting kingdom never to be interrupted by Satan, and his deceit leading to death. 

If God promises that death will be no more, then death will be no more.  Isa 55:11

During his time in the "abyss", Satan and his demons were "restrained" from devising a plan against the anointed ones, but that doesn't mean he lost his authority over the earth, but only over the anointed until the last days.*    When let loose, his ability to devise a plan and attack the anointed was restored, and here it is; a "strong delusion" that God allows him to test each anointed heart.  Luke 22:31 

 

2 Thess 2:

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,  and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,  that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

 * edited.  The abyss is a place of "not perceiving".  Once released, he was able to "perceive" and fabricate his plan against the remnant.
