We had such an amazing long weekend with good friends and my husband for my FIRST time touring Brooklyn Bethel, the Met tour of “the woman and her offspring”, and Patterson Watchtower Educational Center…My appreciation for my brothers and sisters as well as for Jehovah has deepened so much more. Faith strengthening, encouragement, education and seeing our brotherhood in such a beautiful aspect has been the greatest highlight of my weekend…Thank you Jehovah for everything you’ve done for us and allowing us to help in vindicating your sovereignty. @daniroy11 thank you View the full article

Elephant Nose Fish It looks like it might be a bottle nose dolphin. But no this amazing fish is one of a kind. First of all, that’s not its nose—it’s actually an elongated chin. The scientific term for this specialized organ is the Schnauzenorgan, and it’s covered in sensors attuned to detecting electric fields. The elephantnose fish belongs to a group of electric fish native to Africa. Due to its poor eyesight, it must find food and navigate its surroundings by generating an electrical field through its tail. It then senses any changes to that field with its Schnauzenorgan. The organ is so sensitive that the elephantnose fish can tell the difference between living and d…

Azerbaijan Police Disrupt Commemoration of Christ’s Death

APRIL 12, 2016 AZERBAIJAN On March 23, 2016, police officers in Gakh abruptly stopped the observance of the Memorial of Christ’s death—the most sacred religious event of the year for Jehovah’s Witnesses. The event was being held in a private home. Police officers showed what purported to be a court order authorizing their search, and they confiscated personal copies of religious publications, including Bibles. Officers then took all the attendees to the local police station, interrogated them, and ordered them to write statements. All attendees were released after police drew up protocols on six male Witnesses, which could lead to charges under the Administrative V…

Jehovah’s Witnesses’ lock down deal for $700M Brooklyn plot The Jehovah’s Witnesses appear to have achieved a handshake with their BFFs: Jared Kushner, Aby Rosen and LVWRK. The pricing is roughly $700 million for the Witnesses’ 733,000-square-foot world headquarters at 25-30 Columbia Heights and a 1.1-million-square-foot as-of-right development site at 85 Jay St. The same group purchased 1.2 million square feet in Dumbo Heights for $375 million in 2013 from the Witnesses and are now leasing to such companies as WeWork and Etsy. Tech outfits have been circling the Brooklyn waterfront properties — and the large “Watchtower” on the sign could someday…

S-141-E.pdf Before you begin preparing your talk, please review pages 52-55 of the Ministry School book. All speakers do well to consider this information from time to time and adjust their talks accordingly. Although it is likely that most in your audience will be Jehovah’s Witnesses, keep in mind that non- Witnesses may also be present. Develop your talk primarily for the benefit of newly interested ones and Bible students, and present it in a way that will be understandable and appealing to sincere members of the public. Speak positively about Jehovah’s organization and members of the congregation. Do not speak in a derogatory way about non-Witn…

Our first time preaching in Thai! Every year 1000 Thai people attend their new year celebration at the Buddhist temple in Bensalem Pennsylvania, USA. We stood across the street and placed many pieces of literature! The Thai people were so nice, even the ones who were not interested! One lady took 4 Bibles and 4 Bible teach books to give to her sisters! Such an amazing experience! Photo shared by @rachelerin92 View the full article

Joyce Godenzi From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Joyce Mina Godenzi (traditional Chinese: 高麗虹; simplified Chinese: 高丽虹; pinyin: Gāo Lìhóng; Jyutping: Gou1 Lai6 Hung4; born 1965) was the winner of Miss Hong Kong 1984 and is a former Hong Kong film actress. Godenzi was encouraged to join the Miss Hong Kong pageant by her modeling agency, which had groomed one of its models, Maggie Cheung, to compete the year before. Heavily favored, she won the title, in addition to the Miss Photogenic award. After her unsurprising victory, many expected her to do well in Miss Universe 1984 in Miami (her father is Australian and her mother is ethnically Chinese). She was unplaced …

God made you alive.—Eph. 2:1. What a contrast there is between young servants of Jehovah and youths of this world! Many who do not serve Jehovah lead a self-centered way of life, focusing only on what they want. Some researchers call them “Generation Me.” By the way they talk and dress, they give evidence of disdain for the older generation, whom they view as not “with it.” That spirit is all around us. Thus, young servants of Jehovah find that it takes real effort to avoid it and to accept God’s view. Even in the first century, Paul found it necessary to urge fellow believers to avoid “the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience” and in which they “at…
