Definition: This is the annual corporate meeting mandated by law that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania must conduct. It has changed over the years from more of a corporate feel (board of directors type meeting) to more of a convention feel where new publications and initiatives are announced. Sometimes doctrinal "new light" has been announced.

Typically held the first weekend in October.
