Regarding Some Common Questions About the Ransom

You know I love you, and I do not wish for your death by any means.

Love is kind, but love is also brave. Jehovah has proven His love before when people wouldn't back off from harassing His kids. He told Pharoah a zillion times to back off, and that guy just wouldn't listen. He got the memo, he just wouldn't listen. It's going to be the same soon in the future. Jehovah always gives a warning first. He never indiscriminately kills anybody. He will not be killing innocent people at Armageddon, that's another bunch of junk from the FDS.

My question is: Who is your target audience for all the above? There is only about six people reading this blog, and they all know this stuff.

I think it would have to be about 65 or 70 years old to understand the “Rube Goldberg” concept of making things ludicrously complicated reference in the proper perspective …. IF YOU HAD BEEN A FAN OF

Why didn't Jehovah just forgive Adam and Eve?   Adam and Eve weren't little kids. They were adults. They had perfect adult minds. The Bible doesn't say how long they had lived when they sinn

The FDS implies that if anybody is not officially a Jehovah's Witness in good standing according to imperfect men on judicial committees (which are run and appointed according to non-Biblical doctrines) that they will die. The FDS also implies that the time to become such "Jehovah's Witness in good standing" will be done, the door will be shut, so-to-speak, as the great tribulation begins. That is such a bunch of make believe!!!

For one thing, Jesus never said the preaching work would stop when the great tribulation begins. The preaching work in Noah's day didn't stop until the Flood came. At any moment before JEHOVAH shut the door, anybody could have gotten on that ark. At any time before Sodom was destroyed, the people could have left. They got a warning.

Innocent people die all the time in the world, but it's never at Jehovah's hand. Whenever there was a time Jehovah put people to sleep, it was after they were warned and when they were actively hurting others or it was to prevent them from being hurt (like in Enoch's case).

The Bible doesn't say that the people were screaming and carrying on outside the ark when the Flood came. Jehovah put Enoch to sleep. Jehovah put Adam to sleep to take out his rib to make Eve. Jehovah put a deep sleep on soldiers at different times. Jehovah had Moses and Aaron go to sleep. We know Jehovah. Jehovah probably had those people go to sleep and then "swept them all away" with the Flood waters afterwards. Jehovah is not some bloodthirsty death-dealer.

Additionally, nowhere in the Bible does it say that being a baptized Jehovah's Witness associated with a corporation is mandatory for salvation. Yes, Jehovah's name is on the organization, and yes, we are encouraged to associate with the congregation, but there were times in ancient Israel where when there was a famine in the land, faithful worshippers of Jehovah left Israel in order to save their lives.

Today, there is spiritual famine in much of the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses. There is a lack of love in some congregations. There is apostasy taught by the governing body. There is abuse. There are all kinds of shenanigans. And yet, Jehovah has left His name there, in fulfillment of prophecy, that those words in the Greek Scriptures will be fulfilled about the wolves and the lawless one's presence and so on.

Jesus will clean house at the appointed time. Jehovah's name will be sanctified, and that means the organization bearing Jehovah's name will be held accountable for their actions that reproach Jehovah's name. Jesus said: "Hold fast what you have until I come."

As far as that false teaching by the FDS that "only Jehovah's Witnesses will be saved," Revelation shows that a great crowd will join Jehovah's witnesses during the great tribulation. Therefore the preaching work will not end during the great tribulation. It will continue throughout the great tribulation.

(In Egypt, that great mixed crowd of people that went with the Hebrews didn't have enough time to learn about Jehovah. "We will go with you because we have heard God is with you people." It will be the same during the great tribulation. Many will decide they do believe in Jehovah when they see how He saves His people during the difficult days ahead.)

The "preaching work" doesn't just mean "door-to-door" or carts. It is when we show love to our neighbor and in conversation with anyone we share love and encouragement. Our "neighbor" is anyone we are around, at any time. It is when we are moved to speak up about the truth about Jehovah at the appropriate time, or even in just a practical way to show love. "By love all will know you are my disciples."

"The foreigner who resides with you should become to you like a native among you; and you must love him as yourself, for you were foreign residents in the land of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God."

Jehovah was kind to the non-Israelites who went out of Egypt with the Hebrews. Jehovah is reasonable. He's not a tyrant.

Some of the words of this song are applicable as regards seeking and finding trust in Jehovah first:

"Trust I seek and I find in you

Every day for us something new

Open mind for a different view

And nothing else matters"

Putting Jehovah's Word First matters.

"Never cared for what they do

Never cared for what they know

But I know

So close, no matter how far

It couldn't be much more from the heart

Forever trusting who we are

And nothing else matters"

What others do who teach things that are in opposition to Jehovah, that doesn't matter. They can teach what they want, or do what they want. That doesn't matter. Jehovah will deal with it in time. We just need to obey Jehovah.

"Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples, saying:  “The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the seat of Moses.  Therefore, all the things they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds, for they say but they do not practice what they say.  They bind up heavy loads and put them on the shoulders of men, but they themselves are not willing to budge them with their finger.  All the works they do, they do to be seen by men, for they broaden the scripture-containing cases that they wear as safeguards and lengthen the fringes of their garments.  They like the most prominent place at evening meals and the front seats in the synagogues  and the greetings in the marketplaces and to be called Rabbi by men.  But you, do not you be called Rabbi, for one is your Teacher, and all of you are brothers.  Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One.   Neither be called leaders, for your Leader is one, the Christ.   But the greatest one among you must be your minister.  Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

So, how do you see what is said in Matthew 5:5 and 1 Corthians 6:9-11?

"Happy are the mild-tempered, since they will inherit the earth."

"Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality,  thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.  And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God."

There are going to be people resurrected during the 1,000 year reign who died while they were homosexuals or revilers or drunkards. If Jehovah's willing to resurrect such ones and give them time to work on their personality changes, why wouldn't He be willing to allow some to be saved through Armageddon who didn't have the chance to become perfect yet?

Jesus didn't come to save perfect people. He came to save sinners.

What kind of warning do you think Enoch and Elijah received by God?

The Bible says Enoch prophesied about the coming destruction in our day. Revelation says there will be a preaching work similar to Elijah's warning about the judgment to come.
