Lowell Leslie Scalf of Coupeville. died in his sleep on Jan. 8, 2018. He was 89 years old. Lowell was born on Aug. 21, 1928 in Canada. He loved his family’s farm as a young child and later enjoyed his years as a smoke jumper in Oregon. Lowell married the love of his life, Vira Jean, in 1956. They were married for 51 years. She preceded him in death in 2007. LowellÂ’s true passion was telling others about the Bible. He was baptized as one of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses in 1958. Lowell was the second youngest of seven children. Super Blue Moon – San Francisco Eclipse.... Here is the first image from the night. This is a single exposure taken with the Sony A7RII and Canon 70-200 lens. Settings for this shot were 2.0 seconds F4 ISO1000. For this photo I did some light color correction, noise reduction and sharpening. I love the way you can see the stars shine over the city as the moon goes into shadow.
