This is something you will notice as soon as you start traveling in Bulgaria – Bulgarians are one of the few peoples around the world who shake their heads for saying ‘yes’ and nod for ‘no’. But how has this come to be? Here’s everything you need to know.

Now you're getting it. Doesn't this go toward culture? I'm glad you caught on.

What are you talking about? The excerpt is from the internet. I am not saying that what is written on the internet is true or a lie. Someone provided an explanation of such social curiosity. That is all.

Seems to me that's not how you are treating things now, is it. Everything former Jehovah's Witnesses offer on the internet is spectacular, even though it's just a dry nut.

In general, all former JW's have something in common, a basic dark side theme. Same theme is placed on apostate sites. This site is not excluded.

There are a selected few that question bible interpretation, but usually it's about trashing the GB. Simple Minds.

That hasn't stopped you from thinking what your argument is about, them.

Using this interpretation then you probably think Yeshua was only trashing the Pharisies.

Yes I would love to see the GB removed from their position of 'self authority', but I would not like to see the JW Org destroyed. The Org could be cleansed if the GB were not there, and if the True Anointed were used by Yeshua to serve YHWH properly.

@Patiently waiting for TruthIt would be silly to think Jesus motive was toward the dark side other than showing the Jews their teachers from the Schools of laws (Thought) were not in compliance with the laws they preached.

There's a difference between an evil soul and a righteous, and perfect man. Let's not compare a person that can't be compared due to our imperfection.

Also, keep in mind, even when the last apostle died, Christianity continued, even though it was poorly executed for such a long time. It was NOT forgotten, by the Grace of God. Just like when Rutherford and the board of directors, were falsely imprisoned because of the Catholic Church, the daily administrative efforts continued.

No former Jehovah's Witness will "EVER" have a say what God has installed on earth. You're not that powerful, and it would definitely be silly to think you are equal to God for it to make a difference to him.

But the GB neither teach God's word, nor do they obey it.  JWs, when on the doors in the past, or on the carts/trollys in the past, or even in the market places, they do not offer the word of God, they only offer the words of men.

I've never seen a JW offer free Bibles, which is the word of God. JWs only offer the magazines or tracts, which are the  words of the GB.

Yeshua taught the word of YHWH, not the words of men.

This is your truth, not a realistic truth. I believe your friend @Pudgy tried unsuccessfully to show how questionable your kind of truth is by aligning yourself to the dark side.

What you are insinuating, Jesus and the apostles were frauds, since the Watchtower teaches the same first century core doctrine. That's what makes the bible their constitution.

Perhaps you have never seen it. That doesn't mean it hasn't been offered to millions. I've given hundreds of Bibles away. The other problem you might encounter in your land is, certain people don't believe the Watchtower Bible is a Bible. The same thing can be said about the book of Mormons. The Mormons believe that book is an "extension" of the bible, while other Christian sects just consider it a book.

So does any Christian religion. What's the difference between those sects and the Watchtower?

Let's see if these thoughts sink in.

Can We Have It Both Ways?

If the Christian truth option cannot be objectified—which of course I think it can—then the same lack of objectification holds for all other systems of thought. One cannot have it both ways. You cannot presume relativism when it's convenient and then make exclusive claims for your own truth option. If stealing another's possessions is wrong, it is always wrong. It cannot be right when I steal your jacket but wrong when you steal mine. Either all truth is relative or no truth is relative. I argue for the latter. Truth is never relative; truth is truth. by Craig A. Localzo

Clearly, Jehovah did not approve of ‘man dominating man’ through abusive slavery. But did not God later allow slavery among his people? Yes, he did. However, the slavery that existed in Israel was vastly different from the tyrannical forms of slavery that have existed throughout history............Slavery was part of the economic system of the Roman Empire, under which first-century Christians lived. Hence, some Christians were slaves, and others had slaves. (1 Corinthians 7:21, 22) But does this mean that disciples of Jesus were abusive slave owners? Hardly! Regardless of what Roman law permitted, we can be confident that Christians did not mistreat those under their authority. The apostle Paul even encouraged Philemon to treat his slave Onesimus, who had become a Christian, as “a brother.” *—Philemon 10-17. - https://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines/g20010908/Did-God-Condone-the-Slave-Trade/

To summarize this part. Imitating the early Christians today, would mean that JW's would have permission from God to have "slaves" if some of JW decide to have human force to labor for him. Controversial, isn't it?

The Bible gives no indication that the enslavement of humans by other humans was part of God’s original purpose for mankind. Furthermore, no Bible prophecies allude to humans owning fellow humans through slavery in God’s new world. Rather, in that coming Paradise, righteous ones “will actually sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, and there will be no one making them tremble.”—Micah 4:4. - https://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines/g20010908/Did-God-Condone-the-Slave-Trade/

Can we have it both ways? ...... it seems we can.

    • Clearly, they are already demanding your exile. Yes! It's unfortunate that Pudgy spoiled a great discussion about science. I hope the discussion can continue without any more nonsensical interruptions. Just a suggestion since they are on your heels. Wow! You speak! It seems you have a lot to say! Now they are going to treat like, who do you think you are, mister big stuff! Are those aliens now going to imply that anyone who speaks out against the five or six key contributors to this site will be treated as though it is George just because those in opposition speak the language they hate to hear, the TRUTH? They are seeking individuals who will embrace their nonconformist values and appreciate what they can offer in shaping public opinion contrary to the established agenda of God and Christ. Their goal is to enhance their writing abilities and avoid squandering time on frivolous pursuits, mainly arguing about the truth they don't care for. They see it all as a mere game, even when leading people astray. They believe they have every right to and will face no biblical repercussions, or so they believe. They just want to have fun just like that Cyndi Lauper song. Be prepared to be belittled and ridiculed, all the while they claim to be angels. Haha! By the way, please refrain from using the same language as George. They appear to believe that when others use the same words, it means they are the same person, and they emphasize this as if no one else is allowed to use similar grammar. It seems they think only they have the right to use the same or similar writing styles. Quite amusing, isn't it? See, what I just placed in bold, now I'm George, lol! Now, let's leave this nice science thread for people that want to know more about science. I believe George left it at "Zero Distance."
    • Nice little thread you’ve got going here, SciTech. It would be a shame if something were to happen to it.
    • It's truly disheartening when someone who is supposed to be a friend of the exclusive group resorts to using profanity in their comments, just like other members claiming to be witnesses. It's quite a ludicrous situation for the public to witness.  Yet, the "defense" of such a person, continues.
    • No. However, I would appreciate if you do not reveal to all and sundry the secret meeting place of the closed club. (I do feel someone bad stomping on Sci’s little thread. But I see that has already happened.)
