It has been happening in Latin America. When I went to a public university many years ago,  I studied writings by communist writers, it was obligatory first year. Thankfully I moved to a private college. 

Nowadays youths are protesting in universities against this political indoctrination. Governments are worse, now they are practicing this in kindergarden  schools, trying to brainwash little kids
