Are JWs in America back on the 'door to door' work now ?

There is no EXJW community. There ARE EX JWs.

This depends on how you view the word community. You might want to consider the latter on the definition you posted as evidence.

People don't need to be clustered together to be part of a community. You, ExJWs, have something in common here. By definition, you're part of a community.

"the condition of sharing or having certain attitudes and interests in common."

@Patiently waiting for Truth John - You are a former Witness of your former faith and often times there has been some things you have posted from said community.

If you are saying this now, the many times in the past as to when it was coined, you would have said the same thing.

Dream on JWs including JW supporter SM.

Sure, because I am not going to believe a claim based off of speculation as some have.

Ironic from the man who was swept away by the New York Times.

I FOUND A SCAN OF THE 1974 KINGDOM MINISTRY MENTIONED ABOVE !

Here it is !

  • Doesn't this prove the point ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  •

This was already addressed, and the fact Matthew 24 and 25 as is 1 John 2:17 was mentioned. The rest of that archived article was more focused on an increase of ministers, yet never - ever addressed God's Day to be 1975 hence the claim people are making.

It's called reading comprehension John.

And the fact the 60s and the 70s was the 4th and final Great Awakening, minister and preaching of the gospel was at an all time high, and the fact people were gospel preaching kills the claim due to the mention of what Apostle John and Jesus said concerning the Commission.

@Srecko Sostar As pointed out earlier because of the Drone. Now there is even more confusion hence why I was clear on why you cannot trust the MSM 100%. The narrative has changed to both Russia and Ukraine pointing the figure at each other and some are now claiming there was a Bomb inside the Drone; for it would not make sense for Ukraine to have a Bomb intended for Croatia, and now Croatia is at the heels of NATO criticizing them.

Both Russia and Ukraine have denied they launched the drone.

The Croatian Defense Minister Mario Banozic: “Traces of explosives and clues suggesting that this was not a reconnaissance aircraft were found. We found parts of an air bomb."

So it is a wise move to actually wait before jumping to conclusion based off of speculation.

Yes, it is well said that we should wait for more information. But let’s also keep in mind that future information can be selective. So perhaps we may not know exactly what the contents of the drone are.

Speaking of such a comment, I would add that it can be applied to the topic of 1975 too. What if GB and some others individuals provide selective information about the real events in the 1970s?

CHAPTER 9: THE GENERAL CONFERENCE OF 1828

How else can the Church be preserved-supposing such a case of delinquency to exist -- from a general putrefaction? For if a majority of an annual conference become heterodox in doctrine, or morally corrupt in practice, the minority cannot control them, cannot call them to an account, condemn, and expel them. And in this case, must the majority of the annual conferences, and perhaps also a respectable minority of that very annual conference, be compelled to hold these apostates from truth and righteousness in the bosom of their fellowship, to treat them in all respects as brethren beloved, and publicly to recognize them as such in their public and authorized documents? This would be a hard case indeed! an alternative to which no ecclesiastical body should be compelled to submit.

What kind of selective information about the 6000 years of man's existence are you referring to, that shouldn't be implied for the year 1975? For the Bible Students it was in 1872/1873, hence the beginning of the harvest age in 1874.

WT publications after 1975 and today, also public speeches, (go in the direction of explaining that 1975 is the end of 6000 years of human history and as part of the idea that then could begin the 1000 year of Christ's Kingdom), comes down to "accusing" some individuals who misunderstood the thesis of announcing the 6000th anniversary of the creation of Adam.

I’ve never read in WT publications what kind of individuals that means. What is the structure of these individuals; elders, some GB members, someone from the general population, females or males JW members etc.?

All subsequent interpretations regarding 1975 never include the WTJWorg Administration or any portion thereof. This is important to note, as it shows that religious leadership wants to be free from any error in this regard (despite constant claims that they- GB are imperfect and how spiritual food is imperfect and erroneous).

After such a set scene, the only thing left is to call out unimportant individuals who began to fantasize so deeply about 1975 that they initiated thought processes that prompted them to make extraordinary efforts to witness, resign from work, sell houses and the like. In addition to the "positive effect" of such a spiritual and emotional state (a great increase in preaching, biblical studies and new baptisms), there is also a negative aspect of faith in the coming of Armageddon and hope for the establishment of the Kingdom.

Is the non-recognition of the GB administration (of that time) that they had participated in the 1975 euphoria a form of selective informing of JW members? And is today’s GB deliberately covering up the real past?

Now you have the same confusion coming from people that actually became JWs under a false pretext.

Besides ignorant witnesses, I have explained there were also, imposters and people with pretexts. Does being specific make a difference?

You would need to know how the administration was back then as compared to how it's run now. Some proofreaders missed the mark, also. When The Watchtower was referring to something beyond the 20th century, some publications were printed that suggested the 20th century. That's human error that should have been caught by people like @JW Insider when he worked there. But, here we are.

This is the apostate narrative, that now includes @Pudgy. Now he can say whatever he wants, being in the same side you're in.

When you had a GB member being specific not to speculate, and the Watchtower printed an article about it in 1974, do you believe the GB should have held the hands of each member to scold them? They should have been spiritually mature, not a spiritual child.

As a Christian I will keep calm here. BUT That article from a May 1974 Kingdom Ministry IS encouraging people to sell their houses and give up their 'lifestyle' to pioneer BECAUSE of the so called 'short time remaining' before Armageddon.

It was all hype. And if they did not believe that Armageddon would happen in 1975, then why were they encouraging this irresponsible behavior of their congregants. When it didn't happen many people found themselves in a bad position without jobs or money to live on.

"Short time remaining" , "Short time left" "The end of this system is so very near"

Direct quotes from that article. and that was written in 1974.

Truther ? I think not. Denier more like.
