Should we be so impressed?  Would Jesus be impressed?  

"As he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, look! What massive stones! What impressive buildings!”  Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another—all will be thrown down.”  Mark 13:1,2

 Jesus answered, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it up in three days.”  Therefore the Jews said, “This temple took forty-six years to build, and will you raise it up in three days?”

 But he was speaking about the temple of his body.  So when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made." John 2:19-22

"As you come to him, a living stone—rejected by people but chosen and honored by God—  you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. "  

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,  a people for his possession,  so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." 1 Pet 2:5,9,10

"Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you?" 1 Cor 3:16

Would God reject His own Temple and glorify one built in Satan's world?  

"If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are."  1 Cor 3:17

"built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.  In him the whole building, being put together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.  In him you are also being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit."  Eph 2:20-22

"Unless the Lord builds a house,

unless the Lord watches over a city,
the watchman stays alert in vain."  Ps 127:1

This building crafted by God, has been rejected by the organization; and although their teachers hypocritically speak freely of Christ, they have failed to recognize him as the chief cornerstone of God’s Temple. Thus, they determinedly reject each “living stone” as a vital proponent to God’s House. 2 Cor 11:3; 1 Pet 2:6-8
