Left side first is GB Brother  Barba! A  friend-sister  met  him  by  a  New York Bethel  visit,  she  got  alot  pictures

That  picture  is  from  the  past  ~  Bro. Barba  is  now  in  Heaven  by  the  others  from  NY.

I can tell it's not Brother Barber, but I never met Ernie Beavor. Remember this about him though, as G.A. already mentioned:

• One such individual was Ernest E. Beavor of England. He became a Witness in 1939 at the beginning of World War II, and he gave up a flourishing press photography business in order to take up the full-time ministry. Because of maintaining his Christian neutrality, he went to prison for two years. His family stood by him, and in 1950 his three children attended the Watchtower Bible School of Gilead for missionary training, in New York. Brother Beavor was so zealous in his preaching activity that friends called him Armageddon Ernie. He loyally lived up to his dedication, and right down to his death in 1986, he proclaimed the imminence of GodÂ’s war of Armageddon. He did not view his dedication as a limited-time contract with God!

This is something like the way he looked in 1980. The pic above could be 6 years later, or earlier.

Maybe  my  dear  old  sister  in  Hamburg  is  knowing....  She  was  2 times  in  Brooklyn  with  other  sisters  and  met  also  some  of  the  GB  Brother's,  which  are  now  in  Heaven.  She  showed  me  her  photo-book !   One  of  the  very  old  GB Brother's  gave  her  a  little  kiss,  I  mean  it  was  Brother  Barr....

I  will  sent  her  the  pic  and  still  ask  some  questions  per  phone.  She  is  a  funny  sister  and  more  than  50 years  in  the  truth !

Is her name Sigrid? (Not to invade anyone's privacy of course, so don't answer publicly. But I stayed at the home of a sister in Hamburg who could easily match that description. It's a long shot, of course, because probably 100 other sisters in Hamburg would fit the description.)

I wore a beard for about 30 years, and endured 30 years of castigation and discrimination from the Brotherhood because of it.

Absolutely NOBODY on the outside cared one way or another.  Thinking otherwise is a complete and deeply ingrained total FANTASY.

That's OK ... I am a grown man, and try not to think like a child .... so I mostly ignored it, even with being called into "Room 101" for interrogation and "persuasion" at least six times, which I also politely ignored, and having my service privileges revoked for years at a time, multiple times.

Jehovah God designed it that I should have a beard.

How would the Sisters feel if the custom was to have a double radical mastectomy for fashion's sake, because some Brothers were bothered that women have breasts?

.... remember ... the custom of being "clean shaven" was a ROMAN ARMY custom.

If God wanted men to have a clean shaven face, he would have invented razor blades.
